Another opportunity to make your donation go even further is to see if your employer has a matching gift program.  These programs allow an employee to make a donation to a charitable organization, such as Fork Lane PTA, and the employer will match that donation.

Some employers provide Dollars for Doers grants, providing grants for volunteer hours performed. Please check with your employer to see if they offer any programs!
